Freddie M. Wolfenbarger age 65, formerly of Mena passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 in Springdale, Arkansas.
Freddie was born on September 22, 1952 in Cottage Grove, Oregon to his biological parents Otis J. Wolfenbarger and Kay Ward Knight, but credits his rearing to his step-father, Ladurl Knight. He was married to the late Bonnie Jewell Wolfenbarger until her death. Freddie was a truck driver by profession. He enjoyed cars, and was a great story teller. He also was known as a “prankster”. Freddie was a loving father, step-father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all who knew him.
Freddie is survived by a son: Nathan Wolfenbarger of Tonitown, Arkansas
Step-father: Ladurl Knight of Mena, Arkansas
Step-sons: Stephen Smith of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Warren Smith of Cove, Arkansas, Michael Smith of Cove, Arkansas, and Barry Glenn of Springdale, Arkansas
Step-Daughter: Adriane King of Cove, Arkansas
Sisters: Wendy Martin and husband Bob of Mena, Arkansas, Lea Ann Mayer and husband J.R. of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Tanya Tritt and husband Chris of Cabot, Arkansas, Kristi Tull of Cabot, Arkansas, and Teresa Satterwhite of Colorado
Grandson: Carter Wolfenbarger of Clarksville, Arkansas
Many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Otis Wolfenbarger, mother Kay Knight and wife Bonnie Wolfenbarger.
Graveside service will be Monday, October 2, 2017 at 10: 00 a.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park with Brother Donnie Jewell officiating. Arrangements were made under the direction of the Beasley Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
Visitation will be general.
