KAWX News

Tuesday, March 3, 2020 is Election Day. The Presidential Primary Election has already been underway for a couple of weeks with early voting. This election 2,292 people voted early. Election day polling centers will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. If you are a registered voter you may vote at any of the nine polling centers (see list below) in the Polk County. Even though, as an example, you live in Grannis, if you choose to vote in Mena, you will still be given the ballot for the precinct where you are registered.

There are sample ballots available on the Secretary of State's website, based on your name, address and date of birth. Visit Voterview, enter the information, and then scroll down past the polling center locations and view the sample ballots.

When you go to the polling center, you will need to provide photo identification and choose whether you want to vote on a Democratic, Republican, or Nonpartisan ballot. The Polk-Montgomery County Circuit Judge's race will be on all ballots.
