Mena Police Department reports for the week of May 29th through May June 4th, 2022

 

All subjects should be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

 

May 29

A report of criminal mischief was taken at a church on Maple Avenue.

 

May 30

No reports.

 

May 31

Courtney Parnell, 25, was served with a warrant after a traffic stop on Race Track Road.

 

Randi Fields, 35, was served with a warrant after contact on Highway 8 East.

 

A report of criminal trespass and criminal mischief was taken from a walk-in complainant.

 

A report of violation of a protection order was taken from a walk-in complainant.

 

June 1

A report of cruelty to animals was taken from a person on 4th Street.

 

Ronald Bowles, 30, was charged with Theft by Receiving, Driving on Suspended License, Fleeing, Resisting Arrest, and served with a warrant after an attempted traffic stop on Hickory Avenue.

 

Haley Herron, 27, was served with a warrant at a residence on 11th Street.

 

June 2

Penny Kesterson, 67, was served with a warrant at the police department.

 

Laine Barber, 27, was served with a warrant at the police department.

 

June 3

A juvenile was charged with Fleeing in a Vehicle, Careless or Prohibited Driving, Speeding, Driving Left of Center, No Driver’s License, and Curfew Violation after an attempted traffic stop on Mena Street.

 

A report of theft was taken from Dollar General.

 

June 4

A theft report was taken at a residence on Hickory Avenue.
