Mr. John David Williams age 69, of Mena, passed away in Hot Springs on June 19, 2019.
John was born on October 27, 1949 in Dallas, Texas to the late Walter Lee Williams and the late Lula Ellen Smitty Williams. He was a machinist by trade. Mr. Williams served his country in the United States Airforce during the Vietnam war. In his free time he enjoyed watching T.V. and smoking. He will be dearly missed. John was a loving brother, uncle, and friend.
He is survived by brother: Roger Williams and wife Ruth Ann of Mena, Arkansas
Sisters: Clara Phillips and husband Jim of Carrollton, Texas and Deborah Griffin and husband Wesley of Smithville, Oklahoma
Numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Funeral service will be Saturday, June 22, 2019, 10:00 AM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at Big Fork. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove cemetery in Big Fork. Brother Walter Graham will be officiating under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
Visitation will be general.
Pallbearers will be Mitch Milne, Claude Foster, Leo Barge, Frank Foster, Dallas Bobo, and Larry Sanders.
