Oscar Ramirez Jr., age 50, of Cove, passed Friday, November 5, 2021. He was born on November 25, 1970 to Oscar Ramirez Sr, and Jacinta Ramos in Chicago, IL.
Oscar was a loving, kind, hilarious soul. He was the sort of man who could make you laugh, cry, sad, mad, happy, and laughing again all in the same sentence. He never met a stranger, and if he did they didn’t stay a stranger long. He was the type of man to always try to get a smile and laugh out of whoever, no matter the situation. He always had a smile on his face, and a joke on his lips. Oscar believed that everyone could stand back up, no matter how down they were. His indomitable spirit encouraged all to persist in the face of struggles. Oscar was a very loving husband, son, brother, father, friend, and Grandpa Ocalito. His children & grandchildren were the pride and joy of his life. The legacy of his kind spirit, love of reading, and zest for life will live on through them. He will be missed by all who knew him.
