Philip Lee Reimer Obituary

Mr. Philip Lee Reimer, age 74, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was born February 7, 1948, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, to John A. Reimer and Annie I. (Standford) Reimer.

Phillip was a master mechanic by profession, and bravely served his country in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the A112 12 Division of the Marines; and was a very proud, brave, and honorable man. He enjoyed motorcycles, especially Harley’s; in fact, he was a member of the Vietnam Veteran’s motorcycle club. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and was known as a “big ol’ teddy bear” by those around him. He cared very deeply about his friends and family and was always supportive of them. Additionally, he liked to have fun, and was known for pulling pranks and trying to make everyone happy.

Mr. Reimer is proceeded in death by his parents, John A. Reimer and Annie I. (Standford) Reimer, and by his brother, Steven Patrick (Pat) Reimer. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Teresa Reimer; son, Jamy Reimer and wife Linsy of Pottsboro, Texas; daughter, Misty Irvin of Sherman, Texas; grandchildren, Shaydin Reimer and Dax Irvin; brothers, Jerry Reimer of Spring, Texas and Rick Reimer of Lubbock, Texas; as well as a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.

Mr. Reimer was sent off for cremation under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. There are no services planned at this time.
