Bobby Gene Tedder, age 80, died on Friday, September 16, 2022, at the Mena Regional Health System in Mena, Arkansas. Bob was born on Tuesday, March 17, 1942, to Elmo and DeLean Hobson Tedder in Mountain Pine, Arkansas.

 

Bob was a man full of personality and always had a good story to tell. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Mena where he had made many friends. He served proudly in the United States Army abroad working with radar technology. Bob worked in the animal physiology department at University of California at Davis for many years and really enjoyed working in education. He liked to play cards and pinnacle with friends and was a great conversationalist. Bob was a loving brother, uncle and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

 

Bob is preceded in death by his parents; and his uncle Gene Hobson.

 

Bob is survived by his sister, Helen Fairchild; his Aunt Bennie Hobson and many in the Hobson family; great nephew, Race Hobson; and good friend, Mary Dixon; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

 

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at 3:00 P.M. at the County Line Cemetery in Nashville, Arkansas with Pastor Bill Seitz officiating under the direction of Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena, Arkansas.
