Virgie Lee Higgins Lowrey Obituary

Virgie Lee Higgins Lowrey age 80 of Wickes, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019 in Mena.

Virgie was born on October 30, 1939 in Wickes, Arkansas to the late Ellis Higgins and the late Effie Lee Oglesby Higgins. She was married to B.H. Lowrey for twenty-one years until his passing. One of her passions was taking care of children, loving each. She was a talented seamstress and loved quilting. Virgie was a wonderful cook and enjoyed fishing. Above all she loved God, her family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by daughters: Connie Lee Patterson and husband Roy of DeQueen, Arkansas and Diane Baker and husband Freddie of Vandervoort, Arkansas

Brother-in-law: Theral Jackson

Grandchildren: Freddie, Jr. and wife Lyndi Baker, Timothy Thornton and wife Aliesha, Shanea Floyd and husband Brandon, Roy Lee Patterson and James Patterson

Great-grandchildren: Cody and Katelyn Baker, Tyler, Quinton, and Payne Thornton, Makaya, Luke and Lacy Floyd

She was preceded in death by her parents Ellis and Effie Higgins, her husband B.H. Lowrey, a son Melvin Chambers, infant grand-daughter LeAnn Chambers, brothers John and Henry Higgins, and sisters Ottie Jackson and Doris Higgins.

Graveside service will be Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Baker Cemetery in Wickes, Arkansas with Brother James Squires and Brother Ronnie Gillaspy officiating. Services under the direction of the Beasley Wood Funeral Home of Mena.

Visitation will be Friday January 3, 2020 at Beasley-Wood from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Floyd, Quinton Thornton, Luke Floyd, Tyler Thornton, Payne Thornton and Cody Baker.

Jesse Ray Dickison Obituary

 

Jesse Ray Dickison age 88, of Cove, Arkansas passed away Friday, December 27, 2019 in Mena.

Jesse Ray was born on September 2, 1931 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Floyd Ray “Cagle” Dickison and the late Versa Delona White Dickison. He was married to Vaunita “Red” Dickison until her passing. Jesse Ray was a carpenter by profession. He enjoyed restoring old Studebakers, which was one of his passions. Jesse Ray also loved being outdoors doing farm work and riding his tractor. He was a devoted and loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by children: Cindy Watkins and husband Morris of Vandervoort, Arkansas, Sue Pollard and husband Junior of Cove, Arkansas, Peggy Hairgrove and husband Monte of Cove, Arkansas, and Stephen Dickison and wife Dollie of Red Oak, Texas

Grandchildren: Luke Watkins, Clay Watkins, Derek Pollard, Bobbie Jo Lee, Melinda Pope, Sonja Childress, Sydney Dickison, Devon Dickison, Annie Davidson and Robert Davidson

Twelve great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Cagle and Versa Dickison, his wife Vaunita “Red” Dickison, two brothers Shirel and Gary, and a sister Jeanette.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cove, Arkansas under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jesse Ray’s grandsons; Luke Watkins, Clay Watkins, Heath Lee, Devon Dickison and Derek Pollard.

Charlene W. Sevastos, age 76, of Wickes, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019 in Texarkana, Texas.

She was born March 7, 1943 in Umpire, Arkansas to the late Charlie Krantz and the late Willie Mae Austin Krantz. Charlene enjoyed word search puzzles, computer games, playing cards and marbles. She loved to watch her soap operas and was an avid Elvis Presley fan. Most of all, she loved being with her family, especially cook outs. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be dearly missed.

Joyce Ann Wilson Obituary

 

Joyce Ann Wilson age 84 of Mena, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019 in Mena.

Joyce was born in Haskell, Oklahoma on January 15, 1935 to the late Roy Beasley and the late Flower Bell Tucker Beasley. Joyce was married to Carl Wilson for 67 years. She was a devoted and loving homemaker who loved to cook, especially desserts. Joyce enjoyed decorating her home with Home Interior and liked to watch game shows. She loved working at Home Health taking care of the elderly and working at the college. Joyce enjoyed attending church at Hatfield Freewill Baptist Church and singing gospel music. Above all she loved God, and adored her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all.


She is survived by husband: Carl Wilson of Mena, Arkansas

Funeral service will be Monday, December 30, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Mena Freewill Baptist with Brother Kevin Jewell officiating. Interment will follow in the Six Mile Cemetery under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena.


Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. at Mena Freewill Baptist church prior to service.

David Ottis Lebow, age 68, of Oden, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at his home.

He was born August 15, 1951 in DeQueen, Arkansas to the late Ottis Lebow and the late Hazel Bell Fourhands Lebow. He was united in marriage to Mary Ann Thomas. David was a Jehovah’s Witness. He was a well-known conversationalist. The stories were never ending as long as David was in the room and he never met a stranger, however his passion in life was crystal mining. He was an exceptional crystal miner and he particularly loved mining with his sons. David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors are his wife: Mary Ann Lebow

Granddaughters: Shellie Kepner, Shanna Able, and Natalie Lebow

Grandson: Jonathan Lebow

Edith LaVerne McAllister Obituary

Edith LaVerne McAllister

January 11, 1940 - December 25, 2019

 

Edith LaVerne Weatherby McAllister, daughter of G.S. (Skinny) and Ella Atchley Weatherby, was born January 11, 1940, at New Potter Arkansas. She passed away on December 25, 2015 in Fayetteville.

Edith grew up in the Old Potter, Arkansas area, and was baptized at the age of eight in a creek at the Old Potter Presbyterian Church. She was active in her church as long as her health permitted, teaching Sunday School to adults and preteens. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Johnny Weatherby, and her sister, Betty Weatherby Ward.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, William A. "Bill" McAllister, son Kent (Sara) McAllister of Richmond, TX, and daughter Sara (Scott) Young of Fayetteville, Arkansas, three grandsons, Ryan McAllister, Matthew McAllister and Jaedon Crawford. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews in Mena, Arkansas.

She graduated as class salutatorian from Mena High School, and from Southern State College with a bachelor's degree in Business Education. She later received a master's degree in Business Education from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. While at Southern State College she was active in the Baptist Student Union and served one year as the state secretary.

She taught three years at Van-Cove High School, one year at Saint Paul High School and 25 years at Fayetteville High School. She influenced many lives in those years of teaching and was a sponsor for the National Honor Society and Future Business Leaders of America. Her greatest honor was being selected "Business Teacher of the Year" by her former students attending the University of Arkansas who named her the most helpful of all their business teachers from their high school. After retiring from teaching, she owned and operated McAllister's Antiques in Fayetteville for several years.

She was a member of many organizations pertaining to the teaching profession as well as Delta Kappa Gamma, Arkansas Retired Teachers Association and served one year as State Treasurer of the Arkansas Business Teachers Association. She was a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the Farmington Library Board and the Board of the Farmington First Church of the Nazarene.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Pinecrest Memorial Park in Mena, Arkansas under the direction of Bowser Family Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2019 from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M. at the Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mena, Arkansas.

Lenora Mary Thornton, age 72, of Mena, Arkansas died Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Saturday, November 15, 1947 to Virgle and Senda Franz Armstrong in Landshut, Germany.

Lenora was a lady of faith gave everything over to God in her life and didn't worry about things she could not control. She loved her family, growing her flowers, having fun with friends and family, singing, and eating sweets. Lenora was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Lee Armstrong and sister, Hilda White.

Lenora is survived by her former spouse and lifelong friend, John Thornton; her son, Eric Thornton of Mena; her daughter and son in law, Suzanne and Randy White of Cabot, Arkansas; sisters and brothers in law, Vickie and Skip Smith of Mena, Brenda and Alvin Rosson of Mena and Tammy and Rick Langley of Mena; five grandchildren, Larissa Robinson , Brandon Thornton both of Russellville and Kristen Riley, and Skylar White of Cabot, Arkansas; four great grandchildren, Caroline Robinson, Braden Robinson of Russellville and Aiden and Maria White of Cabot, Arkansas; several nephews and nieces and a host of other family and friends.

Joan Louise Black, age 81, of Mena, Arkansas died Sunday, December 22, 2019, at her home in Mena. Joan was born Tuesday, April 12, 1938 to Lucian Ellis and Esther May Horne Black in McCleary, Washington.

Joan loved her family, her many nieces and nephews and her animals. She loved her dogs and cats, eating chocolate ice cream and taking care of her garden. Joan was a Presbyterian by faith and loved singing hymns. Joan was a loving sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Lucian Black Jr. and Jon Black.

Joan is survived by her brothers and sister in law, Terry and Sue Black of Norman and Mark Black of Uvalde, Texas; sisters and brothers in law, Norma and Bernis Duke of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Mary Beth and David Lysobey of Norman, Arkansas, Kathy and Ed Kubler of Benton, Arkansas, Becky and Gary Floyd of Mena and Kim and Jim Meeks of Mena; several nephews and nieces and a host of other family and friends.

Vivian Kay Eversull Obituary

 
Vivian Kay Eversull, 72 of Mena, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, December 15, 2019 after an extended illness.

She was born in Nashville, Tennessee to Arthur and Elsie Wooten. Vivian was preceded in death in her journey home by both her parents and older brother Alan.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Aaron, beloved children Makenzie McDowell, Amy (Dezi) Walker, and Ryan Eversull, adored grandsons Nicholas McDowell and Luke Walker, sisters Barbara Wooten-Del Toro and Ursula Wooten, and many other family members and friends.

Vivian grew up the daughter of a service member and had many opportunities to travel, both across the United States and Europe as a child and later as an adult.

Besides travel, Vivian enjoyed reading and a great game of Scrabble. But mostly, she enjoyed the quiet calm of simply being at home with her loved ones.

She had a kind and caring heart, a quick wit, a beautiful sense of humor, a ready smile, and rarely missed the opportunity to laugh. She fully understood that life is too short not to enjoy it as much as possible and that a little mischief isn’t unreasonable.

Please join us for A Celebration of Life Service to be held at Salem Baptist Church in Mena at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 20, 2019.

Kent Gorden Obituary

 
Kent Gorden, 57 of Jacksonville passed away on December 12, 2019. He was born December 21, 1961 in Mena, Arkansas to Bob and Sarah Gorden.
His early years were spent on the family farm where Kent was a cattleman alongside his father and brother. During this time he discovered his passion for riding bulls much to his mother’s dismay and protest.

Later in life he found his trade and his love of carpentry. He discovered this skill as he constructed a golf course in Florida. Later he expanded this skill as he entered into the contracting world where he built homes in central Arkansas.

When he wasn’t working, Kent enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and hunting. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR and football games. His favorite games to watch were those of the Dallas Cowboys. He also fancied himself a critic of popular sitcoms.

He enjoyed all time spent in the presence of his children and grandchildren and he was always their number one fan in any endeavor they chose to embark on.

He also enjoyed his time as a patron at the local Chili’s where he visited regularly with a multitude of close friends.

Kent was not a man of many hats. He was a man of one hat for the most part. A hat reading CAT across the front. He enjoyed the small and simple things in life to all who knew him.

Kent was preceded in death by his father, Bob Gorden.

Kent is survived by his mother, Sarah Gorden. His wife of 22 years, Dena Gorden of Mena, His daughter Tosha Lance and her spouse Mike Lance of Waldron, their three children Kailie, Abbie, and Andrew, his son Kyle Gorden and his spouse Treell Gorden of Benton, their three children Timber, Archer, and Creek, his daughters Ally Hull and Katy Gorden of Jacksonville, His brother Brent Gorden and his spouse Dedria Gorden of Mena and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Dallas Avenue Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Lance officiating.
 
Interment will follow in the Pinecrest Memorial Park under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis Tennessee 38105.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Gorden, Brent Gorden, Dennis Brinkmen, Tony Hill, Johnny Hilton, Jeff Johnson, Grady Mays and Greg Peek.

Donna Kay Summit age 67 of Mena, Arkansas passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

She was born on July 13, 1952 in Odessa, Texas to the late Louis Henry Callahan and the late Birdie Faye Brennon Callahan. Donna’s passion was driving backroads, especially in the mountains doing what she loved, collecting nature. Most of all she loved and appreciated her family, especially her grandchildren. They were the highlights of her life. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, great grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by sons: DWayne Summit and wife Melissa Moore of Potter, Arkansas, Darrol Summit and wife Kerry of Mena, Arkansas, and James and wife Stacy Green of Mena, Arkansas

Sharon Jaeanette Johnson, age 78, of Mena, Arkansas died Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the Mena Regional Health System. She was born on Saturday, February 22, 1414 to Chester Eugene and Catherine Lucille Wendlandt Nelson in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.

Sharon loved her family and spending time with them and the grandchildren. She enjoyed setting on the front porch and watching the birds and squirrels in the front yard, reading and working in her flower beds. Sharon worked for over 20 years at Key Stone Ford in Norwalk, California before retiring to Mena to be closer to her family. Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Sharon is survived by her sons, Tony Hale of Whittier, California and Mile Johnson of Mena; two daughters, Anita Miller of Camden, Arkansas and Michelle Griggs of Fort Smith; one brother, Rick Horstman of Minneapolis, Minnesota; one sister, Pat McCollough of San Diego, California; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces and a host of other family and friends.

F. Lavern Moore Kelly, age 95, of Mena, Arkansas died Sunday, December 15, 2019 at the Mena Regional Health System. She was born on Thursday February 28, 1924 to Charles Hershel and Ethel Alneda Vineyard Moore in Opal, Arkansas.

Lavern as she was known was a lady of faith and love for her family. She was a follower of Jesus Christ and lived her life serving the Lord. Lavern was a lifelong member of Mena First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school, sang in the choir, taught VBS for 38 years, and went on numerous mission trips to Washington and Oregon. She also traveled to the Holy Land in 1995 and when on a mission trip to Romania in 1998 and 1999. Lavern was an educator all her life after graduating from Ouachita Baptist University in 1951 she began a lifelong journey educating the children of Polk County. She began in 1946 teaching at Shady Grove, in Cherry Hill from 1947-1948, Acorn School in 1951 to 1952 Hawkins, Texas from 1952 to 1955, in 1958 she attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth and graduated in 1961 with a Masters Degree in Religious Education, Oden in 1962, and Mena Elementary from 1967 to 1975. She love working with young people and being a wonderful example of a Godly educator. Lavern enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking her chicken and dressing and apple pies. Lavern was a loving aunt, special friend and teacher to so many and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ray Kelly; brother, Hershel Moore and three sisters, Lucille Brown, Carrie Jo Lunsford.

Lavern is survived by sister, Charlene White of Grass Valley, California; her many nieces and nephews and of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Mena with Brother Russell Threet officiating. Interment will follow in the Pinecrest Memorial Park in Mena. Visitation will be general. Arrangements are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to First Baptist Church Mena, 811 Port Arthur, Mena, Arkansas 71953.

Annie Faye Miner Obituary

Annie Faye Miner, age 83, passed away peacefully at her home in Mena, Arkansas on December 14, 2019. She was born on December 9, 1936 in Daingerfield, Texas to the late Icie Goldie Embrey Venable Terwilliger and the late Richard H. Venable. She was united in marriage to the late Jimmy Lee Miner on March 20, 1954. She was blessed with six children, twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Annie had a great love for her husband and family. She was known for her cooking and baking skills, especially her home-made pies and biscuits, and no one appreciated it more than her husband and children. She was a loving great-grandmother, grandmother, mother, and wife who spent the last few years of her life taking care of her husband after his accident. She was loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children: Beverly and husband Danny Hansbrough of Mena, Johnny Miner and wife Brenda of Mena, Gary Miner and wife Kathi of Mena, Danny Miner and wife Debbie of Mena, Steve Miner and wife Jane of Hatfield, and Lena Fox and husband Don of Mena.

Siblings: Hazel Gray of Justin, Texas, J.V. Venable and wife Ruth Ann of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Gene Venable of Mena, and sister-in-law Patsy Venable of Mena
 
Twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Richard H. Venable and Icie Goldie Embrey, and loving step-father Seely Roy Terwilleger
 
Four brothers:  Arthur Venable, Richard “Junior” Venable, Billy Joe Venable, and Charles “Charlie” Venable
 
Two sisters: Helen Egger and Etta Ree Hawthorne.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 2;00 p.m. at the Beasley Wood Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Owens Chapel Cemetery under the direction of the Beasley Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
 
Visitation will be Monday evening, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

September 25, 1922 - December 13, 2019

 

Mildred Porter Pate, of Cove, Arkansas passed away December 13, 2019, at her home in Cove surrounded by friends and family. Mildred was born Monday, September 25, 1922 in Langley, Arkansas to Arthur Albert Porter and Anna Hill Porter.

She attended Langley School and excelled in Basketball. She had a sister Esperence and a brother Henry Porter. She married Dellas Venton Pate April 26, 1943 in Athens, Arkansas and went to Wenatchee, Washington to pick fruit, and they bought their first car and drove back to Arkansas. Mildred (Midge) made her home in Cove and worked with Dellas as Logging Contractor. On November 15, 1946 they had a daughter, Judy. They donated land to Uncle Bill Pate to build Cove Revival Center in 1954. She was a charter member of Revival Center and donated additional land for expansion and parking. Many of the children at church called her Granny Midge, and her chicken n dumplings and coconut pies were famous. She loved life and working outside. Many adventures were experienced while they worked timber in Colorado and picked fruit in Washington. The logging crews in Arkansas and Colorado became like family, and she loved all of them. After retirement they enjoyed fishing on a pontoon boat, and also RV traveling across American with beloved friends Ray and Norma Davis. She also loved riding on Helen's Harley Davidson motorcycle and attending Christian Motorcyclists Association events. Branson was a favorite place she loved to visit, and she enjoyed traveling anywhere Helen would drive her. She was always ready for fun and adventure and never met a stranger. Midge's life was an example of Christian love and service. She witnessed about Jesus love to everyone, and remembered getting saved and then baptized in the creek. She loved life and loved people! She could tell you a million stories.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Dellas Pate, a daughter, Judy Pate Yates, a brother, Henry Porter and sister, Esperence Risner, and her parents, Arthur and Anna Porter.

Survivors are sisters-in-law, Modema Smedley and Sodola Griffith of Cove, and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, wonderful caregivers, and special friends Kim Parks and Helen Buxton.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Cove Revival Center 299 Polk 288, Cove, Arkansas at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Reggie Fryar and Pastor Larry Davis officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cove under the direction of Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena. No Visitation is scheduled. Special Music will be provided by Amber Taylor and Dee Roberts.

Pallbearers will be Donald Burk, Dewayne Taylor, Pate Taylor, Josh Parks, Sherril Dickison and Andrew Dickison. Honorary Pallbearers will be her nephews, Gene Porter, Donald Porter, Keith Risner, Ricky Griffith and Troy Dickison

Wayne Irven Dehart, age 76, of Mena, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at his home surrounded by family. He was born on Friday, July 30, 1943 to Joe V. and Allie L. White Dehart in Heavener, Oklahoma.

Wayne was a Christian man of the Pentecostal faith who cherished his family. A jokester at heart, he loved making everyone laugh and playing pranks on all the people he loved. He was a hard worker and believed strongly in providing for his wife and family, which he never failed to do. Wayne enjoyed woodworking and made particularly beautiful crosses. He liked Country Western music and Dolly Parton was always a favorite. Wayne loved his wife and family with all his heart and was very proud of all the grandchildren they had been blessed with. Wayne was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and a great friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Arnold Dehart.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Barbara Ann Dehart of Mena; one son, Kevin Dehart of Mena; three daughters, Kim Plunkett of Mena, Kathy Keifer of Poteau, Oklahoma, and Kristi Dehart of Abilene, Texas; two brothers, Joe Dehart of Brighton, Colorado, and David Dehart of Heavener, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Ty Plunkett of Mena, Ronnie Hardy of Poteau, Oklahoma, Ashlie Harris of Mena, Colt Dehart of Mena, Cody Dehart of Mena, Brandon Keifer of Poteau, Oklahoma, Nathan Paschall of Abilene, Texas, and Zoe Paschall of Abilene, Texas; sixteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Carl Edward Grogan, age 86, passed away December 6, 2019 in his home with all of his family with him.
 
He was born August 5, 1933 to Alvin and Della Tackett Grogan in Brushy, Arkansas. He married Carolyn Ann Horstman May 23, 1953 in Berryville, Arkansas.
 
He enjoyed his family and loved spending time with his grandkids. His hobbies included working and building things with wood, gardening, fishing and being outdoors.
 
He retired from 27 years with U. S. Motors. He created many great memories with everyone and will be forever loved and remembered.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Della, his brothers Pete, Gene and Jack and his sisters Irene, Helen and Virginia, his mother-in-law and father-in-law Al and Louise Horstman, and great-granddaughters Ashlyn Grogan and Haley Dawn Grogan.

Bob was born on December 09, 1950 in Conneaut, Ohio to the late Harry Eaton, Sr and the late Marian Beahon Eaton. Bob was married to Deborah Theiss Eaton. He was a manager for Mena Water Department for many years. He was known as “Mr. Fix It,” as he liked tinkering and fixing things. Bob also enjoyed fitness and exercising. He appreciated music and loved playing his guitar. Bob loved his family dearly and was a devoted man of God. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend to all. He will be dearly missed.
